El Paso, TX (KDBC) — A U.S. Border Patrol agent was injured in a rollover near Sierra Blanca Saturday morning.
According to Spokesman Bill Brooks, the accident occured after 8 a.m. on FM 1111 south of I-10. The agent was on-duty at the time, and icy road conditions are believed to have caused the crash.
Paramedics transported the agent to Fabens, where he was then airlifted to a hospital in El Paso.
Brooks said the agent will remain hospitalized overnight for observation.
