Border Patrol Agent dies at Ohio Border Patrol station..

PORT CLINTON, OHIO — A U.S. Border Patrol agent from Green Bay collapsed and died Sunday morning at the Sandusky Bay Station, according to an Ottawa County Sheriff’s Office report.

A cleaning crew working at the station at 7:40 a.m. found Scott M. Schoen, 30, laying on his back in a workout room, the report said.

The first agent on the scene found that Schoen was not breathing and immediately began CPR until medics from North Central EMS arrived.

According to the report, Schoen had recently told his wife that he’d been experiencing chest pains while working out. The report said Schoen worked out at the facility on a regular basis.

No further information was available from the Border Patrol.

Schoen was a graduate of Green Bay Southwest High School, where he played football and baseball and was on the bowling team, and St. Norbert College in De Pere, where he also played football.
